These celebs look awfully familiar.
Have we seen them somewhere recently...?
The celebs - Christopher Knight, Adrianne Curry, Danny Bonaduce and Gretchen Bonaduce.
The setting - The Walls, an abandoned maximum-security prison in the Deep South that opened in 1893 and housed the most dangerous criminals of its time. The Walls was also the setting of Episode 3 of Celebrity Paranormal Project.
The back story - Make that back stories. We're dealing with a few here. At any given time, there were 1,000 prisoners incarcerated at the Walls. Over 120 met their demise at the prison's electric chair.
One of the most notorious prisoners was serial killer Leon Raimer, who claimed the Bible told him to kill seven people. He killed six before he was executed -- his ghost is said to haunt the Walls' death row, searching for his seventh victim.
Another notorious prisoner was Aryan Brotherhood hitman George Gretzer. He killed 20 inmates, but unlike Raimer, he wasn't executed -- Gretzer fell off one of the prison's catwalks to his death. He's said to haunt the section in which he died.
Finally, there's the Hot Box, which was a form of solitary confinement located outside of the Walls' walls.
In the summers, temperatures inside the box could hit up to 120 degrees -- it essentially cooked many prisoners alive.
The objective - To determine which of these areas is the most paranormally active and find the heart of haunting
Oh, and this too, probably:
The scare - Danny, Chris and Adrianne suit up to investigate death row.
They're told by base commander Gretchen that they're to reenact an execution -- Chris will play the prisoner (Raimer), Danny will play the prison guard and Adrianne will play the executioner. As if that isn't spooky enough, Adrianne gets an early jolt when she hears whispering behind her.
She then helps Chris prepare for his role.
"I just want to confirm with everybody that I think this is extremely wrong," Adrianne announces. Oh, whatever, Adrianne -- you love it.
Danny, meanwhile, is told to go to Cell Block C, which is located in another building, to see if he can spot any activity there.
All by his lonesome!
Once inside, Danny can hear bells ringing as Adrianne and Chris begin the reenactment.
Adrianne then pulls the switch connected to the electric chair to complete the reenactment.
She gets more than she bargained for, as it lights up and causes glass to shatter.
Meanwhile, in the other cell block, Danny notes that all the crickets stopped chirping at once.
Crickets? That is creepy.
By this time, Adrianne and Chris are freaked out, so they make their way back to base.
But where's Danny? Gretchen tries calling him to no avail. And then...
Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!
Oh, wait. It's just Danny.
A shaken but safe Adrianne reflects on what just happened: "I just find it really sadistic and f***ed up." There's a little masochism thrown in there too, no?
And so ends this season of Celebrity Paranormal Project. Well, on TV, that is. It will undoubtedly continue to live on...
...in your nightmares!
Bwah ha ha ha!

I just wanted to write to tell you all that whoever thought of this show is a genius!!!...It is hillarious but at the same time hair rising scary. Keep up the great work and I will be looking foward to the new episodes. I also think that you all should try getting everyday people on the show to investigate the dead.

I realize now that this is what MTV did with all that "expensive" ghost hunting equipement from their show "Fear". We all know from that show's participants and crew that there were crew members running loose in the supposed haunting sites as well as "piped" in whispers, voices, breezes and "staged" experiences. I do believe in hauntings but as far as music television is concerned I believe more in the almighty $$$!Having said this, I can't help but watch this crap! It's hilarious!!!!

LOL! I love this show! It's scary and it makes u laugh at the same time. I'm not sure if it's real or fake, but I really don't care as long as it entertains me. However, if it is real, then it would make the show much more exciting! If it's fake, oh well. I'll be bummed, but I'll keep watchin' it regardless!

This show is by far one of the scariest I've ever seen. I keep looking for it, but it hasn't been on lately. My favorite thing to do was to find it On Demand and watch an episode every night. Keep up the good work, and the scaries coming.

Haha! I LOVE CPP (Celebrity Paranormal Project)! My best friend and I could not miss it and stayed up 4 it until 10, watched it until 11, and was too freaked out and humored by it to go to sleep until 12:00am, every Sunday Night. I can't wait for the next season. I'd love to see like, Tyra Banks or Raven Symone or Will Smith on it! I'd also love for them to go back to the asylum place with Timmy!

when is the new season going to begin? i have always been a big fan of the paranormal. I think this show is the greatest!

I think you should have a season one all stars episode, And send them out of the country to draculas castle in romania that should be one hell of a experience for all of them.Make sure to send david carradine cause he seemed to be the most sprital person besides Evander Holyfield who does not seem to be afriad of anything.

Hey! This is one of the best shows by far that VH1 has on the air please don't give up the good work. We all look forward to the show every Sunday night, and can't wait until the new seasons and episodes start. Great idea useing the famous faces in the show, just makes the show all that much better. Well anyway I usualy don't do post, but for this show I had to make an exception because it really is a super show and scary as hell, just can't wait until it starts again, Common guys get those cameras rolling. Thanks for this past season and we'll keep an eye posted for the new season to start.

I love Celebrity PP!! I miss them. When are there going to be reruns of all the shows? Will there be a DVD that I could buy or what? I just need my Celebrity Paranormal Project fix. The only thing I didn't care for was that annoying female boxer. I don't even know her name, all I know was that she made watching that episode difficult with her B.S. Please give us more!! Reruns, another season or 5, something!! anything...
