I Love New York 2 Casting Call!

Ilny_castingcall

Guys 21 and up, if you have love for New York, you have a chance to show it in person. The producers of I Love New York 2 are holding a casting call Sunday (May 6) at the New York club Home (532 West 27th Street , New York, New York). Auditions will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and big personalities are a must. Of course, New York herself will be in attendance, handpicking the dudes that will vie for her affection. "I don't know if I'm going to go for a thug, a nerd or Enrico Suavé this time," she says. "I'm gonna peel my eyes back and keep them wide open this time. The winner is going to be the one who loves me the most."

Of course, if you can't make it (or just look better on the Internet), you can still audition via ILoveNewYork2.com (but keep in mind that only five of the 20 men who make the show will be chosen from the site -- you may have a better chance if you show up in person).

New York, New York, New York. How could you be so...unmindful of your decision. If you know that you're choosing between two guys who you think is the one and it was soo hard for you to decide, on one hand you got a "python" and one the other you got "2-inches", then how in the world was your decision so hard? And chance is fine too.

Hello
I'm here to write about certain matters that disturb me about the new genre of our t.v shows which are now titled as reality.
Reality is by definition the state of things that actually exist, but its unfortunate to say that the state of things has actually decayed with such disregard of how they are affecting the society in whole.
With all situations I believe there are pros and cons to every situation but one must consider what the end the results in both cases before we decide to procede with our initial action.
VH1 has successfully marketed there new line of reality t.v shows using former entertainers or those who have had a moment in the spotlight to the people at home and from time to time viewers do enjoy comical momments where celebrities do have the vigorous task of trying to attain the ultimate prizes in there various activities.
In light of all this I can't help but notice that there are those moments that seem to just create a stigma in our minds and remind us that we have a bunch of people who are out there that still needed to heavliy educated instead of parading themselves as misfits on t.v
This brings me to the matter of Tiffany Pollard(aka New York)I unfortunatley feel the level of mannerism she has potrayed on t.v is unhealthy for younger viewers on televsion, such projection gives a negative impact and provides a thrusting force to encourage young women to behave inappropriately in everyday society, being that it is a reality t.v show it sends the wrong message.
I am definatley not one to want send the show into a hiatus but rather create structure to prevent violent or indecent behaviour from the cast and also provide things which can be useful to them after the show is done.Money is helpful but could you for once send a reality t.v show to school and educate them,I was watching an episode of charm school and I remember one the ladies saying she didn't finish grade 10 and ironically there girls who are home of that grade watching her, some are young people are not smart enough to realize that this is just t.v and will unfortunatley walk this path.
I would not want to watch VH1 one day and due to callous behaviour see some person get maimed or killed all in the name of "reality", because in reality we know such behaviour is not taken likely.
I would like vh1,the public and Tiffany Pollard to understand I have no animosity towards you or the shows,I have not singled you out in anyway whatsoever I just feel with the experience you have now on t.v I would assume you have some creative control on some of these matters I have personally shared moments with you when I watch televsion but I feel you have given a wrong repransetation about yourself on t.v.
People throwing up gang signs or talking about they going to phycally harm another individual clearly shows they aren't meant to be on t.v, if violence was widely accepted the would allow it in sports and even there they have grave penalties for certain indecent behaviour.
If anyone thinks I'm wrong directors, writers creators cast members or even other readers I apologize. I just do not want "reality" getting out of hand we need to be preactive and not reactive

Thank you,

Yomi Muir

Dear Viewer,

You are correct that the show is a new genre but I think it is also entertaining to the viewers including yourself. From what you wrote you watched the show from beginning to end as most of us did. You have the chose not to watch the show as most of us also do.

Tiffany is what she is and that is what makes this world go around (good or bad). There are a lot of programs that are aired on TV that may not be what you consider acceptable television programming. This is entertainment lets keep our prospective regarding reality shows shall we. You mentioned a young lady being at home that has little education or not attending school. This show does very little to influence her way of thinking or behavior. I'm sure there are circumstances in that persons life that lead them to that life chose and I doubt it was TV. Mostly behavioral problems (good or bad) starts in the home and not from watching television. Also, most schools do have programs that try to steer young people down the right path and the one's that don't aren't going to look for role models to speak etc. because they virtually don't care away.

Also, there are television shows that gear toward education as a whole but you would have to turn to that programing station to view them. For instance if you turn to Jerry Springer you know what show you are about to view. If you turn to Oprah you know what show you are about to view. Please keep in mind this is entertainment and the chose is yours to view or not to view.

Personally I like the reality shows that VH1 airs because they are all unique shows and most of America agrees. My life is not like New York's and I don't act like her but it is entertaining to see on TV. It's fun, entertaining, surprising and a conversation peace. It was enough for you to tune in every week and that speaks for itself.

So Kudos to VH1 and keep it up. And to the viewer I'll talk to you after the airing of I LOVE NEW YORK 2 ends and we'll compare notes.

Thank you and have a great day

bring back CHANCE!!!!

New York keep that name because the name Tiffany is a powerful name for a proud sister. And that is not you, You are New York. Look at yourself, you got dump twice by a man who could have been your father that is number one. Number two, you had a man who made you seem humble, womanly, and soft. How could you talk about his mother like that. That woman never said a bad word about you. You got rid of Onyx because he said something about your mother, but you turned around and talked about Tango's mother. A man who accepted you for you were. Chance, is a player, he has more women than you could imagine. He has young women with real bodies, not women with fake everything. He would have done the same thing. To accept a man back to tried to play your mother out of money, please. It would have taken that women. Plus with his temper, he would have beat the hell out of you. You needed someone like Tango. Nobody is perfect, but he brought out the softer side of you. Chance brought out the Ghetto side of you, and that is who you are. You are a nasty woman, who let at least 25 men kiss and feel all over you. White Boy would have been better for you, but if you looked at the Sister he was with, she was low key and appeared to have class. You have no class and you are nasty. The people that have posted positive things about you, can't spell. That is your target audience.
Flavor saw you for who you were.

New York, what Tango missed is your comment you made on the show, that "I needed someone who is more adult and that is why I picked Tango, so he could maybe teach me how to be more adult"...

Now, if Tango REALLY cared and LOVED as much as he claimed he did, then he would love you enough to forgive the comments you made about him and his mother and he would've given you another chance, based on the fact that you are willing to grow.

He is simply a phoney and I am embarrassed for how everything went down. You will find your King, Tiff. ~Kiandra

New York's an idiot. I hope the worst for her. She dont deserve a T.V. show. Im glad Tango walk out on you dambass. My money's on I Love New York 2..3....hell prolly 4.
