New York is back in the house! Though reality TV's most notorious and loudest first-runner-up needs no introduction, but that's not stopping us from giving her one, anyway.

After the jump, New York answers some questions on how it feels to be back, what we can expect from her appearance and her renewed fabulosity.

Were you surprised when you were invited to appear on the show?

Well, when they asked me to come back, I wasn't shocked. I'm in love with Flav, and him wanting to see me again wasn't no big thing. I'm like, "Psshh! Yeah, I'm comin' back! I'm comin' back up through there!" So, when I was asked, I wasn't shocked, but of course, I was elated, just to get a chance to be next to Flav once again.

Did you have any doubts or worries?

Absolutely not. There was no hesitation. By this time, I knew that things didn't work out between Flav and Hoopz, so I'm looking at this to be an opportunity to connect with him again. You know, to see how he's doing since that horrible relationship between him and Hoopz.

During the finale of the first season, you said, "My love is unconditional. I have no cut off time. I will still be there for you in your corner." That's still true? You don't have any resentment that Flav picked Hoopz over you?

Absolutely not. I am a woman of my word. I told Flav that my love is unconditional, and it still is to this day. Him picking Hoopz at the end of last season made no difference to me. Flav is still a wonderful man to me.

Is there a sense of unfinished business?

Oh my goodness, of course! There's plenty of unfinished business. Flav and I got rather close in Season 1, so I want to up the ante and get close like we were then and see where we can take this thing.

You look really great – have you been working out? Dieting?

Absolutely. Season 1 took a lot out of me. I was stressed and overeating, gaining all type of weight. So I took a break and got myself together, physically, mentally and emotionally, of course. So I'm doing much better now.

That episode in Season 1 where your mom was talking about your weight was pretty upsetting.

Well, you know, a lot of people, they kinda comment on the way my mom came at me about my weight. But what they don't realize is my mom is a perfectionist. If something's out of the ordinary, she's going to call me on it, so I wasn't shocked. I wasn't upset by that, I knew she was going to poke fun at me for being about 20 lbs. heavier than I've ever been in my whole life.

Your hair is different…

Yeah, I went a little higher, a little chestnut blonde. It works.

So, I don't want to ask too much about your comeback on the show and spoil any surprises, but just tell me one more thing: did you pack your steak knife?

You never leave home without the steak knife! Yes, I am packing my steak knife 24/7. Wherever I am, you know I got my steak knife on me, baby. New York's definitely in the motherf***in' house! It's that s***! Live with it. (Cackles)
